Meet Victoria, who joined Nexis as a Senior Accountant in September 2022.
Her best advice to those new to the accounting world is to “listen to your client’s needs and create an offering that truly solves their problems rather than changing their idea of what they need.”
We sat down with her to find out more.
If you could be any animal, which would you be and why?
I would like to be a dog as I love being around people and I enjoy cheering up those around me.
What are you passionate about?
One area that I am passionate about is self-development and self-improvement. It motivates me whenever I come across new challenges.
What are you currently watching on Netflix?
Monster: the Jeffrey Dahmer Story. This is a crime documentary series about a serial killer in America. I would not recommend watching during dinner or if you have a weak stomach.
What is your favourite family tradition?
When we all get together during Chinese New Year, that is my favourite time of the year. I get to hang out with my cousins, especially because I am the youngest in the whole family, which means I get red pocket money from everyone!
Are you a morning person or a night owl?
I am a night owl as I focus better at night, especially when I was studying at university and currently studying for CA, I like to stay up late to finish studying.
