Meet Teresa Cavanough, one of our newest Client Teams Administrators. Teresa started with Nexis’s Canberra office in March 2023.
Teresa’s role involves processing clients’ tax returns, corresponding with clients on queries and helping the team with invoices and client information.
While only having been at Nexis for a short time, Teresa loves being part of the Nexis team. She especially loves that even when it is busy and there are time restrictions on work, managers will still take the time to train her on something new or explain processes to give more clarity on tasks.
We sat down with Teresa to find out more about her.
Her family matters most
Nothing is more important to Teresa than her family. Her biggest inspiration in life is her mum, who has unfortunately passed away. But Teresa knows if she can be half the amazing mum her own mum was, then she will be doing okay.
Family is so important for Teresa that when she was asked which three people, living or dead, would you want to have dinner with she couldn’t go past her mum, dad and sister. Both her dad and sister live interstate so she doesn’t see them regularly.
There’s only one way to holiday
For Teresa, there is only one destination when it comes to holidaying overseas and that’s Fiji. Give her a pina colada, the pool, and two weeks, and she’s a happy holiday maker.
Her secret power
Cooking is one of Teresa’s favourite things to do when she’s not at work, and she boasts a mean spaghetti bolognese (among other Italian classics).
